Frankfort-Elberta Area Schools Position: Custodian Location: Frankfort-Elberta Area Schools Job Summary: The custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for students, staff and visitors. The position also requires outside work/maintenance as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous custodial or maintenance experience preferred but not required. Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, standing of long periods, operating cleaning equipment. Strong attention to detail when cleaning. Dependable, punctual, and able work independently and being a member of the custodial team. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures. Ability to pass a background check Pay/Position: This is a full-time, year-round position. 40 hours per week. Work hours may include evenings, weekends, or special events required. Wage and benefits are based on experience per the Master Agreement
